    Hey Everyone!!

    My name is Lauren, I just purchased my first Tacoma. I'm a huge Toyota fan, so as soon as I knew I wanted a truck - the Tacoma was it. I just purchased a 2017 White SR5. Looking to install some upgrades on my truck.

    Keep in mind - I live in Florida, extremely hot and humid here! I'm right by the ocean - west coast!

    I wanted to see if anyone has any recommendations for the following items:

    1. Running boards/ nerf bars
    2. Tonneau covers
    3. Tire package
    4. Grill options
    5. Are those LED light bars worth anything?
    Anything you might recommend???

    Thank you so much! I'm excited! I already ordered my Weather Tech floor mats and the black Tacoma insert for the tailgate. :)

    Well you dont have a lift so the best you can get with out rubbing your tires would be 265/75/16.

    Go buy some "rock sliders" from a local shop! They will protect your truck from door dings in parking lots, also great for off roading!

    The OEM tonneau covers suck! I have a BakFlip G2 cover and i love it. Currently running my bed bars though.

    There are many grill options out there. Google "DIY 3rd gen tacoma grill" there are probably a couple youtube videos and TW write ups.

    Some of the LED bars are good. You definiatly get what you pay for though. The cheap China lights are bright and will probably do what you want, but the USA built brands will put the China lights to shame!

    I would recommend an shovel if you plan to be at the beach at all. If you get stuck... dig out the sand around your tires, pour in some water, let some air out of your tires and you should be good. Also a good shovel mount so that your shovel doesnt fly out while playing on the beach.

    Tons of info around here for your list. LED lights are great if you live in an area you can use them. Also, you may want to look at sliders as opposed to running board if your beautiful truck will venture off the pavement.

    Hi all! Just bought a 2017 Tacoma TRD off road 4x4 and I'm excited to get it. None of the dealers around me had what I wanted, so I found one that sought one out for me and it's exactly what I wanted. 6MT, tow package, bed cover, and all season mats. This is my first pickup and I think I made a wise choice.
