New Owner 2009 DC Tacoma TRD-Offroad SR5 Prerunner

Hello Tacoma Gang,

Im a new owner of Tacoma and I'm looking to upgrade quite a few thing's and thought I'd start here to learn. I'm open to all of your expertise and advice. Primarily I'm focus on wether getting a leveling kit or a lift kit as well as if i should go with 33in tires or 32in tires, thank's and I appreciate your recommendations!

 

Mileage, price, condition of the trucks components, etc. ?

She looks good. How did the suspension feel driving on that terrain?
I'm about to replace the original struts/shocks on mine. They are torched Driving off road for me right now is disturbingly horrid.

Bilstein 5100s seem to have good reviews. If they don't do the trick I'm going to have to dump some more $ into her.

 

She drives and handles like a champ. I was amazed on how well she performed stock, btw that was the easy stuff shown in the picture, we went on much more rougher terrain ( such as climbing jagged mountains in AZ & thick rocks and thick dirt ) and she tore it up, no complaints at all besides a little bit of rattling on the dash. Yeah, I heard 5100's are great but I'm getting ridiculous quotes on installing them.

What are the quotes for installation?

Sounds great if that is with the parts but I'm guessing not.

Any reasonable shop would charge 150-200 to do it. The hourly rate from those shops must be pretty high.
