Okay guys this is a Raleigh USA bike, but what year and how much is this worth. A friend gave it to me and I know someone who wants to buy it and I want to sell the right price, thanks in advance!

If it were a mountain bike I could probably pin point year, etc. Judging by the brakes I'd say it's a 1994-1998. Also, the use of titanium was god like back then and the graphic would explain that. I could be 100% wrong though.

It has downtube shifters so I don't think it's that new.

I think it also says technium. Serial number will help with the year. The first few numbers should offer a clue.

The sn# most of the time is under the bike. Center bottom. But I'm just towing this out. If your friend gave it to you why not give it to the next guy if ur not gonna use it. Or at least take what he gives you. U got it for free.

The guy was taking it to the dump so I offered to take it off his hands and the next guy is actually not the nicest guy, but I'm really hoping to just find the year/model. But on that note I will give it to him for very little as it's a favor passed to the next guy, and hopefully I get some good karma!

I think most bikes put the sn# under the bike.

the SN is under the bottom bracket, that is a Raleigh technium, one of the bonded frames it had aluminum main tubes and chromo lugs.. your looking at the late 80's its a nice frame just not worth much.
brand new it was in the 5-600 range, now its not much, it need to be cleaned up, and you can part it out on ebay, and maybe sell the frame to someone wanting to make a Single Speed....

It definitely says Technium. I had one of their Technium bikes in the mid-80's. They made the Technium model of bikes into the 90's, but not sure how long. Also, it looks like some of the components could have been changed out and not original. The only thing that makes me think they might not be upgraded is the plastic guard behind the cassette. Typically, those get trashed and thrown away when upgrading components. Also, downtube shifters were replaced with STI around 90 or 91, so it might be an 80s model.
