Improvised cooling system for cab?

    My '96 Taco has no functional AC. Compressor/freon is gone... Not spending the money on a whole new AC system

    Any effective in-cab plug in ac units that vent with a hose or something? and NO, I don't need the "bag of ice and fan" suggestion. :) Any other ideas?

    Cheaper than buying a newer Tacoma and less douchey than a Toyota salesperson. :)

    probably, considering I took the hoses, condenser and compressor off completely and they are sitting in a scrap pile. :)
