    @JLee

    Wanted to see what you thought on this... on the squares for the bolts there is this piece on each one of the squares, keeps the bolt from fully engaging the square. Have not installed the skids so part of me just thinks I can crank down on the nuts and it will pull them up, but wanted to check... I don't have a round file, or I would file them down and don't think my dremel is small enough to grind them down. See any issue with them?

    Yeah I wouldn't worry about that tightening will snug it right up. That's the start stop point from our old plasma cutter all of the LCA skids had a little tick in the holes.

    That first sentence almost makes no sense.... but I think I understand it. Will just tighten them up to get it to work. Got primer on them last night. Hope to get them installed either tomorrow afternoon, or Sunday.

    Not looking forward to the drilling though... hope my cordless drill will handle it.

    Works for me! Should hopefully have them installed tomorrow depending on the drilling portion of the install...

    Not sure if anyone else has run into this when doing the LCA skids on the 2014 Taco...

    But the washers that come with the kit are not big enough for one of the holes on the LCA. Went to Home Depot and picked up a bag of Grade 8 washers to replace them with, no issue, but when tightening them down the holes in the top of the LCA are just a tad smaller than the washer supplied, so the washer likes to start bending and going into the hole...

    New washer...

    You got the wrong washers in your bolt pack Sorry about that they should be the large OD washers like you picked up at the hardware store.

    All good. I checked and all the washers were the exact same size. Paid 91 cents for the washers so no issue there.

    Sorry if its been asked before, but my search did not have a clear answer. Will these skids fit a 3rd gen? I know most things are the same on the 2nd and 3rd gens so just wanted to know for sure though before ordering them. thanks
