An hour this evening with the heat gun, and I'm back to maximum clearance. I melted and reformed the front flares and inner wheel well plastic at the front and rear to create the maximum amount of clearance. Now I have plenty of room at the front. A little closer at the rear but still a finger's breadth clearance with the wheel cocked about 7/8 of a turn (where it's closest.) At this point, the flare plastic is in line with the cab mount, and if I want any more clearance, I'll have to go to a cab mount chop. So I'm happy.

I see it, wonder why his truck is pictured there? I'm thinking about putting them on my 16! Talked to a reputable body shop, said they would paint and install for $300.

The noive! Ah well. I can't find them now, but I sorta recall uploading a couple pix to the bushwacker site under customer photos. I'll charitably assume they obtained them from there.

I have to agree with the others they look to be covering your wheels enough to do a decent job. And let's face it if you put something on that would completely cover these tires it would look pretty jakey.

DAMNIT!!!! (sigh) thanks for answering my question.. (from the future) hahaha

I put 2.5 Kings all around, and 285/75/16 and I'm rubbing on the driver side. it cracked my fender... so i've been looking into buying the bushwackers thinking it'd give me just a hair more clearance.. guess not. :(

To those of you on the fence because of the price, 4 Wheel Parts had Bushwacker flares at 10% off over the weekend with a $75 mail in rebate. I snatched a set up last night with 4 hrs left in the sale. Total then is 375 for the set.

    https://www.4wheelparts.com/Fender-...spx?t_c=80&t_s=409&t_pt=3555&t_pn=B/W31928-02

Sale is over now, They do still have the rebate though, but if you call them they would probably honor the 10% off. I bought my BFG all terrains from them last year on a killer deal, $750 for 4 tires, the sale was over when I finally made up my mind to get them, so I called them and they honored their sale price.

I will also then have dummy bolt on flares with dummy bead locks, But I'm betting it'll look sweet.
