LED PODS with OEM roof rack?

I was curious if anyone has mounted LED pods along side the OEM roof rack?

I'm not a huge fan of how light bars look and I feel like the pods could be better flush mounted and would be less noticeable.

My idea is too stick a pair of Rigid Radiance pods up there and run the ambient light as a clearance light of some sort.

 

Or, anyone who has LED bar brackets with an OEM roof rack can you post photos of how the mount attaches?

 

I'm gonna bump my own thread...

I can't decide if I wanna swing the cash for a Prinsu rack, or attempt to modify my OEM one to fit my needs. The rack gets used for hauling surf rods right now and I'll be adding Traction boards and a hard case to store recovery gear in while I'm on the beach.

It would be cool to mount some spot pods up there also.
