My buddy used to have a spool in his built TJ. It was cool I guess. Other than killing his 37s every year and going err err err err in every parking lot. Ha

And apparently it should be a reward for doing something like passing a certification exam.

I mean I make good money, I work hard and I provide for my family.

    Sorry for the rant.

She also works hard as a full time mom and is an awesome mother.

I want to but she has no desire to go.

Logic is irrelevant in most relationship issues.

Thanks man. I'm off to sleep.

It goes away after about 25 years Of marriage. Been married 28 years and she just stopped that bullshit just a few years ago. Good luck sometimes I wonder how she made it this long without a bullet in her head. Pretty sure it was the kids that saved her.

I got my girlfriend into wheeling early into our relationship for this exact reason...during the honeymoon stage when nearly every hobby/interest is shared, lol. I know that in a year or two she's going to start turning down my offers to go on trips, but she'll at least remember what it was like and hopefully only give me an /eyeroll when I say I need to buy truck stuff.

As we're moving into our new place I've started to realize just how many family hand-me-downs she has....90% of our storage space in the backyard shed AND the attic is being filled with dishes and furniture that we'll never use. I'm staying silent and keeping that as an ace in my back pocket lol.

NEW TOPIC: Do you guys ever get stock Tacos coming along on your wheeling trips? I'm on stock wheels/tires/suspension with a 4x4 sport. Should I just wait on the street until I have tires/winch/suspension before I try to roll with you fellas?

good set of tires would be the only thing i can recommend if you want to start wheeling. Having good traction is nice to have on trails.

You would be surprised what you can do and where you can go, just being stock. Time to get out there and find out before you drop a shitload of money on your truck to find out you don't like it. Most roads a stock 4x4 can handle. If the 2wd guys can do it, you can too. Just take it easy and you'll be fine.

I did plenty of trails in my 04 when it was stock, including a couple I probably shouldn't have. My truck came with KO2s though...a good AT tire would be a wise investment.

Wait til she finds out you have to cut the side of you bed to mount the bumper ... I had to file insurance papers to for coverage on my truck. My gf waited a whole week before she threw it in my face

    What a fun truck!
I went up Holy Jim Trail a while back and tried to venture off to some uneven terrain. The DCLB Sport 4x4 handled it nicely, but I was almost certain that my predator steps were going to break off. Luckily they didn't, and now I see why underbody armor is so important.

That said, it was way too much fun fumbling around in the dirt to not go out again. I even put it in 4 high and was sliding around turns going 50+ mph. Now that is exhilarating!

Bed side is already damaged from Miller Jeep Trail right in the section that needs to be cut. One of the reasons I wanted to get the HC bumper in the first place.
