Japanese WW2 Rifle What Caliber??

Ammo for this is expensive. I'll only shoot it a few times. Mostly shoot my 223 -40cal-22 maybe my 7mm once in a while

 

I still have it but it's at my nephews. He'll inherit it. It made a beautiful gun with a high dollar stock but now it's really worthless. You'll laugh when you see the cartridges. well here.....this is a 139g, the standard 156g looks just as long as the case.They hit hard but were not near as flat as the lighter stuff. You know this is very similar to the "magic" bullet that killed Kennedy, right?
