Beautiful!!! Just grazed the Eastern Sierras July 13/14 (campsites before Lee Vining on Tioga Road) to meet friends and prep for a backpack to Ten Lakes in Yosemite....Looking forward to further my adventures that I started in the early 90's rolling in a 1978 Blue Volvo wagon.

I decided to take my family on a two day one night mini vacation to the lower desert, mid-summer. Hottest recorded temperature was 104 mid day when we left. We stayed in a little motel for one night, and used the pool extensively. The next day we made it to some of the metal sculptures around town. I love the desert.

Had exclusive use of this pool for about 4 hours solid upon arrival. I even brought dinner poolside and we ate well after sundown. :) Slept in a nice air conditioned room. After breakfast the next morning, we used the pool for another hour before moving on to see sculptures, and finally hang out in the ABDSP visitor center. Ate a fat lunch in Gold Rush town of Julian in San Diego back country before returning home. It was a lot of fun. :cookiemonster:

Nice! No 4x4 trails? Next time to Anza I need to check out those metal sculptures. Room with AC and pool? priceless out there in the summer.

There are plenty of trails, lots!. But not on this last trip for us.

Fall semester is in session now for our kids. My wife and I are both still calibrating our schedules with new jobs, new commutes, etc. In a few months I'll be moving my family to a different house.

Soonest I think we'll get out for fall desert wheeling /exploring is November. This has been a year of lots of change for us.

Are you (and family) having fun in all of comings and goings?

It's seems to be a bit busy for me; but then I've been there too.

My wife thinks all my trips are too many and exhausting, but Crom definitely takes the cake. I love traveling but definitely like sleeping in my own bed in the a/c too.

I want to do something similar to this and add l track to the bottom of the bed. Were you able to add the backing plates for the tracks without having to lift the bed off the frame?

Love this page. I just got the b110s to pair with my dakars (new light duty). I'm gonna need some super bumps and extended brake lines it looks like. I currently have the standard length 5100s running g with the dakars

Great build thread with tons of info! Thanks for taking the incredible amount of time it took to document and write-up everything. I have read only a fraction of what you have written so please forgive me if I missed a link somewhere. But I did not see any link to the install of the secondary auxillary door seals like what the 3rd Gens have. Do you have any additional information on that mod?

    Thanks!

The B110's fit in the stock location with no shock mount modifications, correct? @Crom
