Load resistor which wire on rear blinker 2005

I've searched this site for an answer to this but have had no luck. Does it attach to the green wire or white wire w/black stripe? Do I connect it to one of these wires then ground the other or do I connect it to both wires?

Looks like they should be in Parallel with the LED Lamp. One side to positive and one side to ground.

OK which wire is positive? White wire or green?

 

Don't think green is power. Usually ground.
Is there a purple or black wire

 

Well it doesn't matter as resistors are none directional, polarity doesn't matter.

If you really want to know however Green is the power wire + and the white with black strip is ground -.

 

You are thinking machine AC Grounding. That doesn't apply to vehicles. Green is power, White with black stripe is ground as are all grounds on the Tacoma.

 

Thought so. That's why I said unsure.
And on my little girls quad the green and yellow is a ground.
So I don't think the color scheme applies to all low-volt in or on vehicles
