ive got a test pipe and a flowmaster 40 series and i absolutely love it, drone is non existent and its got some rasp around 2000 on partial throttle and rasp at 3K and 5K on W.O.T
i didn’t get a CEL with a deleted cat (o2 is most likely shot)

flowmaster with the cat was okay, not loud but it had some humm to it then it got quiet cause my cat clogged up
my goal was a decent kind of loud
    -stock exhaust manifold-

ive also ran a fm40 with cat delete. dont recommend. sounded horrible most of the time. fm44 or 50 is a better choice as far as flowmasters go.

    Pretty much stock right now
I ran a Walker cat back system a few years ago. I had my loud cars back in the '70-80s, now I want peace and quiet.

As an aside, the other day I was passed by some motorcycle or other that sounded like a strung out weed whacker. I only had to listen to it for 15 seconds, but can't imagine the rider having to hear that noise the entire trip. Running those pipes on an import is ridiculous. Bud, it aint a Harley. Somewhat true for our Tacomas also.
