I have the Magnaflow full catback system installed on my 08 prerunner 4 cyl. and it's too loud for me. Also, apparently it sounds much better on the v6. I would like to trade for a stock exhaust in good shape. I installed the exhaust new (muffler shop) and it has less than 10k miles on it.

You coming to San Diego any time soon? How much cash you thinking? Have a link to the product that you have?

I wish, I love San Diego, but no plans at all. Sorry, I should have put that in the title, it's the 16625 model for access and dcsb models.

Damn, I would totally be interested but logistics would be difficult. Let me research it a little. Thanks.

Maybe its just me but wouldn't the simple solution be to put a quieter muffler on it. A lot of these Muffler shops have some pretty creative employees, once they understand what you want. ...Just saying

Yes, this was my first thought, but figured it be better used by someone else rather than hacking up a perfectly good exhaust. Also, the v6 deserves the exhaust, on my truck it'sa little ricey.

My girlfriend lives in Sunland. If you want to wait a few weeks after I get back from vacation I could give you the stock muffler I cut off. You would need to weld it on though.

LOL ricey.... On the positive side, once its been driven around awhile and in the rain, its really not new anymore, and being tucked up under the truck who is really going to notice?
take the lesson, get out with the least expense and go on with your life. ( quietly ) welds a like a badge of honor ( war stories you can tell ) if anyone notices. Part of the Tacoma Culture.
