Oh I know. God forbid if you should replace worn suspension components

Yup. Sometimes it's not even that much extra work to change them out either.

Really crazy stuff here--I worked in a garage and the towing business for many years. Got a cal from the State Police one evening for a disables car on the highway. When I got there w/ the rollback--an older women was standing outside , waiting--I bent down to hook the chain to front suspension--she says'
OH-let me get Fe Fe out first'... I replied I didn't see a Dog in the car. She replied--"Oh, no--Fe Fe is my pet snake--he's under the front seat....No B/S!!! I threw the chains back on the truck and got out of there as fast as possible--called the Police on my way back at a phone, and said--"Give that call to someone else--and told them why.:burnrubber::burnrubber:
Never heard anything else about it....
True story from the late 80's.

Found this in the wife's Sienna. Think I can plug it that close to the sidewall? :D

Nope. I don't think it punctured the carcass. Still going to replace it, though. Don't want it to cause tread separation on that heavy ass van.

Only way I can figure is that the front tire drove over the head, which popped the nail straight up just in time for the rear tire to pick it up.

10 years and 170,000 miles on the factory plugs on my patrol truck. I spent some time trying to decipher the hieroglyphics in the maintenance log that are the handwriting of the previous person my truck was assigned to when I realized the plugs had never been changed.

    The recent ones.

My 74 year old Vietnamese tech broke off this drain bolt inside the pan so I had take it out by about 8 million quarter turns with a screwdriver and my fingers since my magnet stick was not powerful enough.

This customer wanted to know why the engine was running poorly and leaking oil. Well that would probably be because you have an actual hole in the bottom of your motor...

140K, original cabin filter :bananadead: Luckily customer approved replacement.

Another nasty cabin filter. This customer did not approve replacement...

I have found mouse poop but no actual mice so far luckily. Some of my other techs have though.

I wish I had the pictures on this phone. One of our customers left his car sitting for a long time and a rat turned the air filter into a substance resembling cotton, so when he started the car it sucked up the cotton right into the throttle body. Had to replace the mass, filter and pull threads of cotton out of the throttle and iac port. Pulled the intake but it didn't look like it got that far.

Other than the kinked line is that caliper also on the wrong side?
