What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I need to do this. But I'm gonna need a big ass shop to store and organize parts.

 

Well this is a major pain...
Little thin in places but hopefully there second coat helps cover that
1st coat done.

Got the roof rack on and painted the hitch olive drab. Nothing over the top, just a nice accent, got some hella horns to go behind the grill and I'll paint them the same.

...need to cut the grass, but truck parts.

 

Yeah, what are you willing to pay? Take note the previous owner spliced so wires in for lights in the back of the truck and me being lazy I just cut them off but they're still good

Taking a shot into the abyss here, anyone know the bolt size/part number for this bolt? It's on the radiator side support and I can't find it on the partznet or camelback diagrams


Thinking of putting my horns here so I don't have to squeeze them behind my grille and in front if the radiator.

If that is a 12mm head then M8-1.25, not sure on the length though

Moments late but you two win the internet. Quick trip to home depot. A little sketchy removing radiator support bolts in the parking lot but 16 mm m8x1.25.

 

nah HD never has what I need when it comes to metrics. Lowe's has yet to let me down in that regard.

 

I usually go to Lowe's but the one near me never has the bolt chart. Ace and HD do.

 

I will give it to HD for having those charts and functional testing boards. I wish HD had what I needed more often. They are less than 10 minutes away and Lowe's is like 20ish. I don't even know where an Ace is around here tbh.

 

Pretty well done, minor touch ups when it drys a little more.

I probably have 38 different "textures" but it's all good.

Deciding if I should write up a product review somewhere..?

 

I'm about 4 minutes from Lowe's and home depot but the home depot looks like it's about to go the way of Kmart.

 

No good idgaf about Kmart, but HD is actually useful to me.

Ok so I need to be able to haul a kayak or canoe with the tent so what would you guys recommend? Thinking of building a new rack so the tent is flush with roof. I would love crossbars on the roof but not too sure I want to drill holes into the roof as its always raining here
