Are you not concerned about them rubbing ?
3/8 inch are supplied from Bushwacker.
I have heard some people get their stainless bolts flame sprayed black. 3/8 length black oxide are impossible to find.

    Two questions please.
What is the head size of these bolts, bushwackers are 5/8 inch, and more important are they magnetic ?
Bushwacker bolts are non magnetic but I have seen lower grade replacement 'stainless' bolts for flares that is not and lower quality.
    Thanks.

Did you use any clear tape on the vehicle before putting the bushwackers on as in a short time they will scratch and wear the paint through where they contact on the fender.
Check this install out where they use protective tape. Maybe this https://www.amazon.com/Scotchgard-C...chgard+Clear+Hood+and+Trunk+Edge+Sealer+Paint

My flares have been on for well over a year and all I did before install was give the area of contact and flare was give the paint a good paste wax. No issues with rubbing as of today and have been look for rub marks20170520_071748.jpg

Never been a huge fan of the color, but boy I am now. You did a great job with your mods. I would be proud to drive that truck.
