I know many of you were at the Overland Expo this year. It was great see so many people there, as well as new vendors. I’m interested in hearing what your favorite part was!

There were so many amazing booths, people, and puppies to see, and we even took advantage of a few deals, but my favorite part is always the trip we make out of getting there. This year we took a new route through cottonwood canyon and it was beautiful.

My favorite part was seeing the Turtle Expedition truck. These two are real pioneers in overlanding. I remember reading about them in the 4-wheel and off road magazines as a teenager. And yes, the trip is always fun.

We came down Cottonwood wash too! Thursday night though, so many cows on the road! We spent that night on the beach at lake powell at lone rock beach. Such amazing scenery down there!

Cottonwood wash is great, that was my 2nd time on it!

It was great to see vendors that I've chatted with online and actually see them in person!

It was also great to hear about what to do and some tips for crossing international boarders from Expedition Overland since I have two of those on my radar for 2017 :dancingbacon:

I see you are from Utah also, where at??

We're from Utah County! You? We also did a quick stint at Lake Powell after the expo. We were at Warm Springs Bay through Crosby Canyon. We cut it a bit shorter than hoped due to the crazy wind and sand combo.
