Sorry for the rant as I know every company has its issues time to time but holy crap this is so ridiculous I LOL when I think of the situation.

So 4th of July they ran a free shipping sale woohoo! Who doesn't like free shipping!? Taking advantage of the deal I ordered a rear lift kit for my taco (leaf springs, shocks, brake line and also added some new shackles)

To try and make this long story short I ended up calling and nagging a few times about the delayed shipment. They were nice on the phone and explained they are short handed, which I understand happens.

Last week they finally got delivered and with what luck they forgot to ship the damn shocks!!! lmao. So this is the funny part, I called and told the lady last Thursday explaining I didn't get my shocks and she says "oh no problem we will ship them out and you should have them this Saturday. Oh really now!? You don't say!? Glad I didn't believe that one bit as it Monday and they still aren't here haha.

    ...we'll get there.
Sorry to hear about your experience with them. I've ordered from them before and had a very good experience.

Mistakes happen and it sounds like they're making it right.

Did they not get delivered because AP didn't ship them out, or because the shipment was delayed by the carrier? To give you an idea last time I used FedEx 3 day shipping took 7-9 days

That sucks but why take it apart when you KNOW you don't have all the parts on hand to put it back together? Pretty silly if it's truly a DD.

A buddy of mine had a similar issue with them. They kept over-promising an ETA on a part that eventually never got delivered. He cancelled and brought his business elsewhere.

Preparedness, I usually do the samething too. Order parts, start working on it, clean up the area a bit, new parts arrive, slap it on and be done. I only do this if I have an alternative vehicle to get around iin.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from All Pro with nothing but good luck and good communication. I ordered bumpstops, brake lines, sliders, electronic dif lock guard, UCA's etc... Weather it comes by freight or small box I've always had a good experience with them. Sorry to hear about your problems with them. Just know they don;t screw everything up all the time.

So assuming it's a daily driver? It's not. I like to have everything ready so I'm not rushing when I put it all back together. ( trail gear frame plates, cleaning and POR-15 etc) so that's why it's apart.

No offense man. I could've sworn you signature said DD when I posted. Perhaps I was mistaken. Mine's not either. I've been messing with toyota trucks for almost 30 years and I work in the parts business. Biggest mistake people make is taking stuff apart before they have all the parts to complete the job. Anything can happen with suppliers, manufacturers, shipping carriers, etc. Sure you can be upset about something taking too long but trying to put any project on a time schedule on the word of someone without parts in hand.... Rookie mistake.

Frustrating - I've been in that situation. At least you have some more time to freshen up those drums!

It's all good! Maybe I should of clarified originally that it's not a daily driver! If it was though I wouldn't of took it apart before I had everything.

Actually just got off the phone with allpro they are doing everything possible to make things right. So thumbs up to them on that.

Yeahh the downtime might actually be a good thing. Want to do brakes, steering rack bushings, box in rear frame. Just living in New England kind of sucks- starting to run out of nice weather soon

I was in Maine at my folks' place last two weeks and it was already starting to feel like fall! Do you have a garage to work in? I feel for you if you don't!

Yup at night it defiantly starting to feel like fall. Unfortunately no garage but hopefully I'll have a house with a garage in the near future. Just got to stop messing with my toyotas so I can afford one haha

Maybe this could be your new style garage - just pack snow around it for walls. Space heater and you won't even know you're outside anymore!

I've ordered several items from them and had good results, although one time there was a part that was missing but was sent out the following day after I informed them of the missing part. These things happen and they did get it out to me asap so it did not really bother me.
