Email correspondence with BeckArnley Auto parts. 89452-35030

I'm still trying to work out a Chinese supplier for the 4 wire TPS. I contacted Denso and BeckArnley auto parts. I haven't heard back from Denso. But here is my email correspondence with BeckArnley:

The TPS is not available as a separate item (at this time). We worked with our local Toyota dealer and the only way to get the TPS is to purchase the throttle body.

We are searching and have our office in Japan searching, but this could take upwards to six months to find and there is no guarantee we will find it available as a separate item.

Where did you get the number > 89452-35030? Is it the number molded not the TPS that is on your throttle body now?

Jon,

89542-35030 is an ABS/speed sensor. Google that OE and you will see the description.

We will do some additional research on the TPS and get back to you.



If the only way to get the TPS is by purchasing the throttle body, there will not an OES number for it.

Hello,
I'm having trouble finding a Throttle Position Sensor fo a 2004 Toyota Tacoma 3.4v6 Prerunner with the electronic drive by wire throttle body. It appears no one makes a replacement part. The part number on it is Denso #89542-35030. Toyota says the part number is no good. The only way to get one is to purchase a brand new throttle body for $1000+ from Toyota. It covers model years 2003 and 2004. There is alot of those trucks on the road still snd all are high mileage. On TacomaWorld.com owners are starting to see a failure rate increase.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
