Picked up some Interior LED's for my Tacoma from @MedlinAround
The interior really presents differently now, love it!
Soft yellow lighting is so 90's.

Long time since I've posted updates and whatnot.
A couple weeks ago I took my truck in to my Toyota dealership with the lower control arm noise and the rear end howl.
They mentioned two tsb's. One for the plugs in the lca's and for the rear end noise they were going to replace a heat shield or something. I was happy to let them go through their procedures. After the replacement I asked them to let me test drive the truck before signing off. The noise was still there as expected. When I returned they were willing to help. They said the next step was for the service manager to contact Toyota corporate and open a case. The service manager was not in that day but he would get on that when he got back.
    I wait for the outcome

    Meanwhile...
I developed a squeak in the front end when the body twists over bumps and whatnot. I finally made an appointment to get in to have it looked at.
The drivers side front body mount was worn and needing replacement.
They are doing that now so it’s all good.
They said it looks likeit may have been misaligned during the manufacuring process of the truck as it’s split on one side.

    Got this thing installed today.
    Thanks Hondo Garage!
Was initially cranky with the high price and the unexpected $34 duties charge at the door but that’s just greedy government crap.
    High quality product, I’m impressed!

I just ordered some Redline 75W85 GL5 Front and Rear Diff Fluid & 75W90 GL4 MT Fluid.
I'm at 51,000 KMS approximately 32,000 Miles and I'm very curious to see how the Redline fluid held up for 48,000 KMS.

Just ordered Katskin Leather Seat Covers to replace the fabric ones that come with the truck. I ordered the Tuscany series leather in Amaretto. Hugely excited about this. In addition I ordered two yards of the same leather in order to wrap the door inserts and insert above the glovebox just like the Limited Trucks have.
    Super excited!

Will do. I picked up a GoPro to do the walkthroughs of changing the Diff and Tranny Fluids. I’ll likely record redoing the seats, door inserts and top of glovebox.

Two days ago I had the truck into my Toyota dealer to do the rear diff whine TSB 5034 which included replacing the Rear Cab Mount Isolaters, adding some Silencer Pads in the C-Pillars and replacing the Leaf Spings.
This TSB does not eliminate the whine it just keeps you from hearing it.
I don’t hear anything anymore. I’ll just keep changing my rear diff fluid religiously and not worry about it.

My radio also would reboot sometimes when I woukd recieve a call or try to dictate to it. They did a software update TSB TS-TSI-5045
    All good now.

Katzkin's came in last Thursday. Very very nice quality product! I have so many video's to sift through to compile the work I've done in some kind of an orderly fashion. I'll add them bit by bit. I also have some pictures of the install as my GoPro's battery would not last long enough to record the process for an entire seat.
More comments and tips to come.

This door insert was the first one I did on the truck. It ended up redoing it several times and the end result was still not perfect. I will likely redo it at some point but it took me 4 tries to do it and the prep work in between is a killer.

Stupid question but how close is the Katzkin color to the factory Hickory color.
