AM Radio Noise only when in Reverse

    Looking for anyone who has run across this - not just a problem with this head unit as I have had it with another brand (Kenwood) before I installed this one (Pioneer). When I put the truck into reverse, I get terrible noise from the radio but only when I am on an AM station. I have searched the forums but came up empty and have also checked my grounds. When installing the head unit(s), I used an adapter harness so there is no splicing going on in there.

    I would use the AM radio only in DRIVE gear, that would be my suggestion
