    GO CATS

I did this to my truck a few weeks ago.

Our exhausts are 2 3/8" so you're gonna need a 2.5" tip and weld it to fill the gaps. Mine came out super clean. Let me know if you want pictures I'll be to my rig in a few mins

Oh and the noise no louder than stock. Don't get some dumbass 6" tip and you'll be happy.

Use a grinder with a 6" cutoff wheel and WEAR A FACE SHIELD. Don't use a sawzall lol you will be sorry

Some of you are way too worried about exhaust gases. Drive faster

I did the cab stack mod.
Run the exhaust into the cab for that 'clean hidden look'

It's all about common sense. There is a low pressure area behind the cab or behind the vehicle. If the rear window is open it will cause the air / exhaust filling in this vacuum to enter the cabin. Even with the exhaust dumping out the side everybody elses exhaust is going to be pulled into the cab with the back window open.

The below warning in the owners manual is why a lawsuit would fail.

This is what I did. I get lots of drone around 2,200 RPM. However, I attribute that to my Spintech Muffler, lack of Cats, and Long Tube URD Headers.

Seems like a useless option to only be able to use when the car is parked with the engine off.

I knew I should have read and memorized all 492 pages of the owners manual. :homer:

This is getting out of hand...

Are you afraid of dirt too?
I'm sure I'd have more to say about 'drone' or similar if I had aftermarket exhaust. Stock for now.

I'll still continue to drive with all windows open

Honestly I don't understand the concern with the exhaust fumes. You'll be cutting the exhaust right after the axle which is way past the cab of the truck

I have a question is this done for clearance?
Reason for Asking exhaust is very corrosive and could cause rust issues

Thanks for that. I wasn't sure the size I would needed. I wasn't planning on welding the exhaust tip though. I was just gonna use a hose clamp.

    Yes, clearance.

If you wheel your truck, you risk shoving the turnout up into the bed side

Makes a difference. Seen exhaust pipes mangled in Moab. Shoved into the wheel well, etc.
