What kind of mileage did you guys get out of your center bearing? I had a vibration in my driveline from a stop and when I brought it to the local Toyota dealer. They said it was center bearing, Im only at 99k on my 2011. This seems rather early for this to be wearing out, what are some things that can cause this to wear early? Its a DCSB 4x4 with a manual tranny.

    Reserected from the dead.
On my last 1st gen, I had to replace one at 27k. The present one is at 95k with no issues.

I don't know if they are the same part for different generations. Toyota is not known for changing parts that can be used for lots of different vehicles.

UPDATE: so the dealer has already replaced my CSB, realizing this did not fix the shimmy at low end speeds they found that it was my flywheel. Double edge sword suprise...This truck is already on its second clutch. Ive only had it since 85k and assumed it was the original clutch, apparently not the case. Well when the second clutch was put in the flywheel was not "resurfaced?" Im not sure what that means but they are doing that on the house for the CSB not fixing the probelm. Anyone know what resurfacing a flywheel means?

Hahaha 99K? That's laughable (I laugh because I only think about how shafted I got with mine). Less than 30K here.

How long have you been lifted? Is the shuddering new? I ask because maybe your driveshaft angles are just off and some shims would solve your problem.

Make sure you only use the Toyota part for the center support bearing. Do not use after market.
