Installed Wheelers superbumps today. Kind of a pain in the ass cause I didn't have a tool big enough to take them off. Went to Harbor Freight and got a pipe wrench, which I'll probably never use again, haha. The wheeler bumpstops just screw in with a 8mm hex. Here's some pics...

Had the Methods and some beefy General X3s mounted and put on the truck.:muscleflexing: Props to Hector Mejia at Discount Tire @ Yuma Palms for the install. I drove it home and adjusted my coilovers to 2.5" before taking it to Big O Tires for an alignment. They did a great Job at at the Foothills/Yuma on frontage road. The following day, I took my Dremel and cut off some fender plastic to rid of some rubbing. Now the only thing rubbing on the tire is that over sized cab mounts. Thanks toyota!:luvya: Next up is the cab mount chop. :sawzall::welder:20170302_171039.jpg

I drew up a new RTT bed bars sketch on autocad and went over to my buddies shop and we knocked them out in a few hours. Two complete bed bars measured, cut, bent, and welded together. I took them home, added a coat of rust resistant primer and painted them black. I did like 3 full coats of paint. This was just a rough set, but they actually came out pretty good. We wanna do another set this week, with a few tweaks here and there. Gonna get some hardware to mount these and test with the tent. Who knows, we might even sell a few if people like them.

My Birdawg Industries rearview mirror riser came in. I gotta say, this should have been my first mod! This thing is awesome and easy to install. I never really noticed how much of my view that mirror was covering. It's all good now though. Thanks @ChadsPride for letting me know about the mod.

Yea, works like a charm. Just gotta train the wire to go on the inside and you're set. Smooth drop every time. Thanks, the build is never over.

Replaced the exhaust with a Flowmaster Super 40. Sound is great. Very little noise in the cab. :burnrubber:
Took it down to Mexico to get it installed. :woot:20170707_170200.jpg
Not the best welds, but it will do. Can't beat $300 pesos for the instal, which is $18 bucks.

Today I installed the rear suspension on the Taco. I installed the 3 leaf progressive pack along with U-bolt flip kit and Timbren bump stops. For rear shocks, I replaced the stock Billies with Fox 2.0 with Resi and DSC adjusters. Shout out to my homie Benny for giving me a hand, I had never replaced leaf packs or added to an existing. Good thing I had an ice chest full of beers, cause it was hot out there. :bananadead::bananadead: But overall, the ride quality is awesome. It is a bit taller than the front, so I will adjust the front coilovers accordingly to even it out. Plus, the back will settle a bit.

Pelfreybilt called on Friday and said "Your Armor is ready for pick up, whoohoooo.. I took a nice drive in the Taco to San Diego and picked up my bumper and sliders. Met Jerry Pelfrey, super nice guy. I even saw their sweet Rig. :D I drove back home and installed the sliders. The only thing I have to take away from the install is READ THE INSTRUCTIONS PRIOR TO INSTALL. I had to take sliders off because they would not fit flush against the frame. I missed the step where I had to grind down two rivets toward the back of the frame:sawzall:. After that, I added a little black rust-oleom to the frame where the rivets were and 're installed the sliders for a perfect fit. Then torqued all to specs by Pelfrey. Bumper is next! :woot:
