Since you're Living in Atlanta I'm sure the Alabama crew will have another mod day soon can always meet up. Most guys here would do it for a case of beer

I'd even offer but I'm about 4.5 hours away and I'm moving in 3 weeks

Holy shit. It took me and @Inmand09 about 6 hours to install his lift with UCA's, bullshitting time included. Save that money and DYI. Take it to an alignment shop afterwards.

Paid 1200 for brake lines, lift, ad a leafs, tire mounting and balancing and upper control arm install and alignment. I live in the Bay Area so prices are more expensive than other areas. I would of done it myself but I live in a condo and don't have proper access to work space. ;(

You better be getting kings for that money cause idk why you would paying that much. What kind of lift you getting? Please don't say you're having the dealer do it with spacers before you leave the lot

    And just for reference.

This 4Runner looks badass however. It's an Sr5 with a spacer lift, fuels, and nittos. They have it sitting at 52k with a $8995 up charge for this "wheel and tire" package. Do it yourself. Don't let the dealer over charge you.

My back was tweaked when my parts came in so I took it to the local tire shop. OME complete lift and had him install my cradles for airbags since he was under there. $415 included the alignment.

I Installed a Level 3 Fox kit with Dakars and TC UCA's.

Step 1: Grab a beer and some popcorn/chips (whatever).
Step 2: In your web browser, go to youtube and watch some videos.
Step 3: Grab a good friend/cousin who is down to help. (Makes it easier and fun)

The font suspension is (in my opinion) a bit more challenging to do than the rear. But, nonetheless a great experience and good to learn.

    * If you start early enough, it will take you all day. I split my install and did the front on Friday and the back on Saturday.

Id do myself but no tools or really anyone that has done this before. Back when I was in Air Force in early 80s we I was in transportation and we could rent shop space on base and is get some buddies that worked as mechanics to help on my keep anything it needed and when broke. Yes full king set up add a leaf everything. Also something to do with chop block that was only 50 more and some cutting to fit 285 tires and no rub. Not sure if this is lift I'm going with Toy Tec recommended it when I told them I need on highway ride being I drive 33k a year or more and told them I don't do hard core off road at all. No rock climbing but just some trails and old roads log roads or stuff exploring. Also mainly when rains and I go remote places fishing lots of mud and snow sometimes getting to the creeks

I.mainly just want the look and stance of lift and very important to keep ride as good or prefer better than stock. I was hoping to find lift for about $1800 and install about $800 for everything. Lift for kings was $2900 not 3900 with everything

Labor rates around here in Oklahoma around 105.00 dollars a flat rate hour, I was told that in Kentucky it's over 200.00 dollars a flat rate hour!
I just had them install new Dakar rear leaf packs (std load) and Toytec Boss 2.0 rear shocks, right at 300.00!

He didn't say it took all day both days, just said he did the front on one day and the rear on another.

Sometimes people have other shit to do, family obligations and such than to spend all day wrenching on a truck in the garage.

Same... As it stands, I'm single and travel a ton for work and sometimes gone for 3-6 weeks at a time. Having a garage is the ONLY reason I wish I had a house. Otherwise it is nice being able to turn the key and go without worrying about the grass being cut, house/car broken into, guns being stolen, etc.
