I have a 1999 sr5 taco, I have a 3in sus lift on it front and back, with 2in wheel spacers and 35s sitting on it. And yes I have to cut my fender about 1inch on top dropping to about 3 inches on the bottom edges by my doors and front bumper.

My only problem is that I rub if I turn my steering wheel more the 360° left or right . But, I cannot afford a sas swap so I'm going to put a 3inch body lift with my 3inch sus lift. I know it's not the best fix but does anyone think I'll be able to turn much more after doing that?

What are you hitting? I would you rather do a body lift than tub your fender / firewall because of lack of access to a welder?

I do not have a welder but I have friends that do that are able to help me. I'm rubbing when I turn to far on my fire wall right by my door, that's why I was thinking about lifting it 3 more inches with a body lift.

Ohhhhhh shit now I get it. I wasn't sure what to look for on his truck I was just looking at all the other mods and thinking how much money I wish I had haha. But yeah I was just talking to another yota guy and he did what I was thinking of doing (3inch body lift) bit he said it is trash, I'm just gonna keep my 3inch suspension lift and sell my 35s and put some 33s on there. Mainly just because it is a daily and I don't off road everyday (like 1 time a month) and with 33s I'll save gas, I won't rub and I'l be able to have alot of fun with cut fenders/3inch lift/33s/ and some lockers.
