    Hey All,

My 2004 4-Cylinder just hit 170,000 miles. I always do fresh synthetic oil every 5k and rotate the tires, but I'm wondering what else I should do to my truck as far as routine maintenance goes?

Should I replace the battery and spark plugs even if they're fine?
Thinking of doing the front and rear differential fluids... any recommendations?

    Thanks

Congrats dude. If you haven't ever changed the spark plugs, now would probably be a good time

Others will chime in with different opinions I'm sure, but in my experience change the plugs and all the diff fluids every 50,000 miles and you'll be fine...easy DIY stuff and and info found on this forum.

I have 145,000 miles on mine and she runs like new.

All of them if they haven't been changed or inspected after 170,000 miles, especially brake fluids and coolant.

If you'll tell us the last time each part that has fluid was serviced, folks can better recommend.

When were the shocks last changed? That mileage would have you about done with a 2nd set normally.

When were the brakes last serviced? Not relined, but actually serviced.

    Last alignment was?
