    Hello all,

I CANNOT figure out where this vacuum? line goes. It broke in half and the other piece must have fallen off and I have no idea where it goes. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Anyone have an idea where this goes? I capped off this port as was suggested by a toyota mechanic. But I'm still pulling the evap code. This hose definitely goes somewhere.

I just googled 5VZ tacoma, this may actually be a 4runner though.

I personally don't have a 5VZ, but my 3RZ has a vacuum port like that on the block. I think there were one or two of them and when I put on a cold air intake I had to transfer the vacuum lines. Check your air intake maybe?

What code do you get? It'll narrow it done, maybe.

It doesn't go to the air intake. I'm getting a P0171 code for lean gas. Could be lots of things for rough idle though. Cleaning throttle body and idle control sensor today.

My 4Runner has that port. Goes over to the VSV's for the front axle control.

Weird... I got that code too. System Too Lean Bank 1. I solved it by plugging in a lose vacuum line going into the block. I think it went to the charcoal canister or my air intake.

I cleared the code and didn't get it again.

Hey mark, anyway you could take a picture of where it goes? I have no idea where VSV is.

OP, if I were you, I'd replace all of the vacuum lines. Some look kind of grungy. I replaced my vacuum lines last fall, and I which I'd done it sooner!
