Very little. They have a guy coming in Right behind you willing to pay that price you won't. Tacomas have only a 29 day supply which is half of what the other guys have. With that said you can get a few percent off but nothing like other vehicles.

There is a rather large thread with prices that everyone has paid for their truck.
    Use the search function.

find the thread "how much have you paid" something of that nature.

but shoot for 7-12% below MSRP that's kind of the range a good deal would fall within. be prepared to haggle hard for a few weeks with multiple dealers.

I'd shoot for a couple grand off MSRP and be fine with that.

You can buy at invoice. Just deal with an internet sales guy. Have financing pre-approved.

    How to win:

    1. Find the truck you're looking for sitting on a lot at any local dealership.
    2. Call the internet sales guy at said dealership.
    3. Give him the VIN or Lot # of the truck you want.
    4. Tell him you used to work in new vehicle sales and you're not playing any fuck fuck games. Go straight for the jugular and ask him what the invoice price is for that truck from the manufacturer or regional distributor. Some dealerships will show you the bill of sale from regional distributor.
    5. If he balks at your request, move on to the next one.
    6. If he provides it, which should be roughly 10% below MSRP, tell him you would like to come in and buy it.
    7. When you get to the dealership, don't negotiate the price any lower, just ask them to throw in a few extra deals to sweeten the pot (extended warranty, some all-weather floor mats, sliders, window tint, etc.).
    8. Close the deal like a big boss saving $$.
