    A. That is an awesome regular cab-lucky you, hang onto it.
    B. Between your half-ton leafs and those large bouncy meats you're going to get major bounce in that truck unless you have some weight in the bed. I get it in my doublecab with a shell.

Don't know about SD but in Wyoming they go real easy on the salt. Generally they use 5% salt with sand and only in extreme conditions do they use up to 20% salt and sand on the roads. The salt is real bad for the environment here so they use as little as possible.

This information, by the way, is from a guy I work with now who drove a snowplow in southwest Wyoming for 13 years. Don't know what they do up north or to the east.

Went out this morning to check the tire pressure. Not sure if the frame and wheel guy did this or not but most of my tires appear to be way over pressured.

    FR: 25 PSI
    FL: 36 PSI
    BL: 39 PSI
    BR: 35 PSI

The sticker in my door says 26 PSI front and 29 PSI back. What do you all recommend?

Thank you. I plan to add some sandbags to the back, but what I hate about sandbags is that in the winter they turn to blocks of ice and then to slide around the in the bed unless they're very securely fastened. Is there another better option for adding weight?

put some boards across the bed in the grooves and it will at least keep the bags from moving front to back. I keep the factory bedliner in mine and I used to keep them behind the wheel well and between that and tailgate. never moved. and if your sand is "frozen" there is too much moisture getting to them, they should be stiff but still pliable. I stopped using sand bags years ago as it wasn't heavy enough in the rear for my area to warrant carrying them.

you could always make a bolt-through system to add a solid weight in the bed over the axle position.

OK well now that my tire aren't 110 PSI things are riding way more smoothly.

I tried to find tube sand a like 15 different stores and no one seems to carry it or have it in stock or even know what it is.

So instead I just got four 50# bags of all purpose gravel at $2.99 each. They are in plastic bags and should hold up at least until I can find tube sand.

Now the truck is smooth as butter compared to before. Thanks all for your help and suggestions.
