Your build is what I'm headed towards as well.......only spruce mica ;)

Love your truck. How do you like your hard shell CVT compared to the conventional RTT you used to have?

I wanna respond to this carefully. Adam was awesome. The Tepui Kukenam Sky Ruggedized was beyond my expectations, it was a great tent. It just lacked a little convenience and speed in the setup and take down. And that is the ONLY reason I went to a hardshell. But it was very roomy and comfortable beyond expectation. However, I went with the hardshell solely for the speed and convenience of setup and take down. The weather played into my decision. Tepui excels in everything they do. I will always have very high opinions of their tents and their customer service. The Tepui was definitely slightly more roomy, and has much more head room. Again, the only reason I went with the hardshell, is ease of setup and take down. Especially in the rain. That being said, it's crazy fast. I can have it open and ready in less than 2 min, and even less for take down. I wanted this for the fact that I might need to break down the tent to run in to town for something, or just explore trails, I can do that in a matter of seconds and leave a table and chairs to "call dibs" on the site. I'm very content with the switch to a hardshell, although I have nothing negative to say about a soft shell rtt, it all depends on the users application. On a scale--Hardshell RTT=10, Softshell RTT=9, and this is just my opinion. Thank you

I've been waffling back and forth for those reasons exactly. Thanks for your input. Still on the fence though....the annual 20% off REI sale and ability to use your dividend makes the Tepui tempting.
