I tried replacing my spare tire carrier. It looks like that I either need to remove the whole bracket that is bolted to the frame or lift the bed up to get to the bolts for it, since they are on top of the bracket. Are there any suggestions on an easier way to remove it?

There is a recall on it. Take to the dealer and they'll fix for free.

If you have managed to get the spare tire off then I would say just use a grinder, or find someone with a torch to cut them off.

Take it to the dealer, just had mine done for free. It's an open safety recall.
