You are wrong. Access cab and double cab front doors are the same size. Regular cab doors are different

If you have any doubts dont. They fit. I have them.

Its not the hardest if youre not a wimpy bitch. The doors weigh about 45 pounds but are big and awkward. Hold it buy the inner door handle and rest it on your knee and its not terribly hard. Ill be making some quick disconnect hinges soon

The Quick Release Hinge Kit only fits up to the 2000 Tacoma. It does not fit the 2nd gen. We have no plans to create a set for the 2nd gen as there isn't enough interest to cover the development costs.

Several of you guys are misunderstanding a couple of Adam's posts, so let's clear this up. He didn't say anywhere that 2nd gen dcab doors would NOT fit a 2nd gen access cab. The quote that you guys are posting is a response to 2 separate questions.

    1st question:

any second gen access cab front doors?
    No sorry.

    2nd question:

Do 88 pickup doors fit an 04?
Nope, they are not even close.

See what's going on there? Two questions about two different things. If the 2nd gen dcab doors actually work just fine on the 2nd gen access cab, just send Adam some photos so that he can verify and update his listing if he'd like. He only advertises fitments for what he can personally verify from fabrication in his shop. If he's never had a 2nd gen access cab in his shop for fabrication or fitment, then he will not advertise as such without some very positive verification. Hopefully that helps clear things up.

A random thought turned into a quick question.... any idea if these doors would work on a DC 2016?

We haven't test fit them on the 2016+ truck ourselves yet.

Any more interest yet in rear doors for a first gen double cab?

Not really, but I bought an 04 double cab so the rear doors might happen sometime this spring.

Sounds good. I'll be sure to let you know when they are ready. But let's be honest, don't hold your breath, it will be a few months at least.

Do you usually keep the 2nd gen DC doors in stock? I’m going to get the set for my 3rd gen sooner or later, just hope they fit. Have your tube doors on a 1980 and they work well!

The 2nd gen doors aren't something we focus on keeping in stock, so it's kind of luck of the draw on those. On a side note, we're actually test fitting those doors to the 3rd gen right now (as in Ben is unbolting a door as I type this) so I'll have more info about that later today.

Hell yeah that’s what I’m talking about! I had hell seeing obstacles last time I was on some technical trails so I’ve convinced myself it’s a good buy.

Both the front and rear doors for the 05-15 Double cab will fit the 16-18 Tacoma! We also came up with a new way to solve the open door sensor/alarm. All door sets will now include a new tab that uses the button switches' mounting bolt to bolt over top of the button switch and hold the switch down. We're doing this because we noticed that on the new trucks the wiring harness for the front door open switch is not long enough to unplug it without taking the interior panel off to handle the plug. It'll take a couple of weeks to get this new piece in stock.

Hell yeah, that’s rad!! That silver set would suit my truck well.... Do the front doors come with any provisions for mirrors?
