Hope all y'all have a good day. Some schools starting but most have two weeks to go. Gotta get my neck looked at this morning first then start the circus. My first week on call after 15 months or so.

Ended up over at Randy's yesterday afternoon doing some work on the 6x6s to get them ready for Caribou hunting in Chicken, AK at the end of the month. I just realized I only have to work 9 days over the next two weeks before I get another week off for that trip.

Thanks for the perspective Tim. I always thought the economy was relatively strong there. My google search surprised me.

I'm also in my avoid the national news phase again. I get frustrated with the bickering between the "two sides" ... I'll just stop there; don't wanna mess up the only social media outlet I have left.

... I have how many ever channels too; I DVR the programs that were on network TV 30 to 50 years ago and watch them more than anything else lately.

Spent over 100$ on a Bunn that didn't last a year. Could've put it towards the mother of all coffee makers.

 

I thought I could adjust it on this machine, but apparently that must have been one of the previous machines. Apparently this one is set to 192*F ... temp in the cup when first brewed is 175*F. I'm not gonna think about it too hard...I'm happy having Silverhook (local) K-cups.

 

Time to make 2nd pot in percolator going to get my thermometer. Nice if it were digital or laser.

 

I can almost picture that...

Have a good day all. I'm gonna get another nap before day break here. Heading over the Randy's at 0830L, he, Matt, and I are gonna do some more nut and bolt tightening on the machine shed. He and Matt worked on it yesterday morning and got those last few sections to line up...close to being able to put the back wall in.

 

Schools here started a couple weeks ago. So between the traffic going to schools and winter visitors sneaking back in, the roads are slowly congesting. The farm traffic will add to that pretty quick. They're harvesting cotton now, then they go into winter vegetables. That's when the farm workers all come back from coastal California. So between the farm worker buses, the individual cars they drive and the trucks hauling crops from the fields to the coolers added with the local traffic and the winter visitors, this place is going to get busy all over. Not big city busy, but twice or so of what we have now. Enough to make you spill your beer if you're not paying attention.

 

Yeah up there they have zero sense of humor. I know one lol but he has been a dick all his life so ...

Good morning and welcome to Monday. Ugh.

Bunn has a 3 year warranty, just saying... One reason I use Amazon Prime for most of my purchases now isn't for just convince but I can always print out a receipt. My Bunn is 6 years old now so I'm on my own with it.

Isn't just America's test kitchen the Technivorm makers have been ranked #1 for as long as I can remember by everyone that has done serious reviews. Never owned one though LOL.
