I setup a detailed log to see what was happening with @Wolftaco0503 and others who were not getting notified of new posts in their watched threads.

I figured out what the issue is and have been working on a fix I hope to release today.

The reason many of you mysteriously stop getting alerts is because the system required that you read all the way to the end of the thread before you'd get any new alerts. That's not a realistic expectation, especially if you're several pages behind the newest posts.

So, we've setup a new alert type. If a thread you're watching/sub'd to has updates and you fall behind on them, it'll give you a brief alert that you have unread posts in it. If you don't read further posts in the thread after a couple days, the reminder alerts for that thread will stop (until you do jump back into it).

    Let's see how it goes...
