I don’t think the 3rd gens have a separate flasher, there isn’t one in Toyota’s turn signal diagram. All the signals are wired to the “combination meter” so they are probably flashed by the computer.

No, didn't see anything. I think the new vehicles are integrated into a unitized board or box. Hyperflashing can still be resolved with in-line load resistors when you add lower draw LED's.
@mesojdm would know the factory circuit better than I, since he plays with the LED mods all the time.

would be nice if you can go into that "module" and adjust the parameters to compensate for less current draw.

Yeah, I agree as someone who likes to tinker, but the body module that handles the signaling/ lighting tasks was likely carried over from another Toyota product designed many years ago, before the whole LED integration.

It's sad to say, but the Tacoma will likely never be the vehicle Toyota puts brand new tech into. It always starts with the flagship lineup, then trickles down.

makes sense, toyota is not one to break new grounds they like to use what's tried and true, I would think some of this stuff trickles down from lexus to toyota.

Looks great, I'm stuck between 35w and 50w. What are the options for HID highs?

Thanks for the info, very helpful. Looks like 35w is the safe way to go.

Now I just need to decided between 4500k or 5500k. I want pure white, no amber, and no blue. Thoughts?

I ended up with 5500k in 55w and found that its whitish yellow. I'm using 6k fogs and there is world of a difference between the colors. Don't forget to use trs10 for 10% off your order.

Are you referring to my lights? I haven't had anyone flag me since the install and lights height shipments have not been touched since it left the factory.

So is it okay to run 50w in our stock projectors, I've read 35w is max due to heat??
