Has anyone riden Lake Elsinore MX track? I'm going tomorrow but have never been there if anyone wants to join.

Forecast shows it being partly cloudy 70-77 degrees with very little wind in the morning.

It's fun. Kinda slick when wet. It's dry lake bed dirt.

Hopefully the cloud cover will keep it damp enough that they don't water the blue groove.

The hose isn't bad just the water truck. Give it half hour after the water truck to let the track dry out. Should be great weather. Probably low 80 s

Totally random question.. is it possible to run a welder off a stock and/or auxiliary battery with a powerful enough inverter?

It's a redundant setup. Your converting DC voltage (battery) to a AC voltage steuped up to 120VAC at 60 hertz (Inverter). Then connecting a welder that is stepping down the 120VAC to 25VAC and then rectified back to DC voltage at 25VDC so you can weld.

If you want to have welding capabilities on the trail, then run directly off the battery and avoid all the loss due to thermal dynamics. You would need two batteries in series to have 24VDC, this will get you up to 250 amps of output. I carry the readywelder.

What's a good portable air compressor that you guys run? I'm not looking for one that needs to air up 37" tires (Right now I am running stock, I might move up to 285/70/17). Looking for one that is of great value. Don't need the best one, just need one that works.

Thanks for the info! So I have a triple-battery setup in my Tundra. The 2 auxiliary batteries (Odyssey PC1500) are wired in parallel as one and are mounted in the bed. If I ran a welder directly off of that, I'd get roughly a few minutes of total weld time in?

You should be about to get 20 minutes before you will need to recharge the battery. Enough time to fix a link or a mount.

That looks familiar. A guy I wheeled with aired up with one of those and it seemed to out perform mine: https://www.amazon.com/Master-Flow-...id=1502831798&sr=1-33&keywords=air+compressor

I'm leaning towards onboard air but may just get a better portable one later.

In other news...I know it's a long shot but does anyone on here have hookups for OEM Honda parts??? I don't frequent the Honda forums as much, if at all, anymore.
