The disc brake setup that @Matic posted above uses the same design GM caliper without the e-brake. Good possibility the bracket would work.

Your kit has the parking brake cable still?

My first thought was to go Toyota, like maybe the Supra? But that is 5 lug. And so is the 86. You could probably just use front brakes and rotors in the back, but they don't have a parking brake.

Yup, it's a second gen kit but should be much easier to make fit than just trial and error with different auto manufacturers...

IIRC Honda Passport / Isuzu Rodeo have rear discs and are 6 lug so that could be another option

    All-Pro makes a transfer case mounted E-brake.

That's a good solution but it stops working if your manual transmission slips out of gear.

    What?

The biggest issue is that it doesn't fit the Tacoma tcase.

My bad I had read that when I was looking at converting my rear axles to full float and everyone was talking about those transfer case e brakes not working if the truck isn't in gear.

This is where I decided that if I was going to do the full float conversion I'd go with a different option (on top of the fact that the transfer case is on the wrong side, but w/ adapters I could have gotten one that would work).

Ouy, I didn't realize it was only for the pre-Tacos. Wonder if there just isn't a demand for the kit to be offered for the Tacomas...

I have the ballistic Tcase parking brake on my truck, works OK for using a golf cart caliper. I'm hoping to convert my D44 based FF to 86-94 IFS toyota parts and use Front range offroad's Drotor kit.

Oh that kit looks pretty sweet! Keeping Toyota parts is a pretty big plus.

I'm still thinking about that elocker axle

I have hubs and snouts already, just need to get my axle out and up to them to replace the flanges and probably make new axles.

That doesn't show it will fit your truck.

I almost got a kit, but realized an fj80 ff axle swap was the same price and only slightly more work. Even works with the stock mc.

It will fit. The only difference is one emergency brake cable is short so he sent me 2 long ones.
