Do you have stuff bouncing around in the back of your taco that you wish you could mount to the side of your bed? It sounds like a first world problem, but I may have a solution....

    Universal Bed Rail Mounts

These are CNC plasma cut from 1/8" aluminum, so they will never rust, and can be customized to hold quick fists for a shovel/axe setup, bike fork mounts for transporting your bike, water ports, rotopax cans, hi-lift jack + shovel, or use them as drop mounts to mount items under a bed cover, etc. Hardware is for mounting the brackets to your bed rail. If you are interested send me a PM and I can get you set up.
$40 shipped painted with mounting hardware.
    $30 shipped w/o hardware & paint

Hardware includes x2 galvanized 1/2" carriage bolts, washers, nuts for mounting the brackets to the bed rails.

    Hi-lift Bed Rail Mounts
    [IMG]
These are CNC plasma cut from 1/8" aluminum, so they will never rust, made specifically for mounting your hi-lift style jack to your taco's bed rail. A cutout has been added to allow a lock to be passed through the hi-lift and the mount to deter theft. Hardware will include everything needed to mount your hi-lift to the mounts and the mounts to your bed rail! If you are interested send me a PM and I can get you set up.
$50 shipped painted & include mounting hardware
$40 shipped w/o hardware or paint

Hardware includes x4 galvanized 1/2" carriage bolts, washers, nuts for mounting the brackets to the bed rails, and mounting the hi-lift to the brackets.

CB Antenna /Whip Flag / LED Pod Tab Mounts
    [IMG]
These are CNC plasma cut from 1/8" aluminum, so they will never rust, and can be used to mount your CB antenna, Desert safety flag, light up whips, or led pods to your bed rails. Photo examples of use have been added below. If you are interested send me a PM and I can get you set up.

$20 Single shipped painted with mounting hardware.
$15 Single shipped w/o paint or hardware.
$30 Pair shipped painted with mounting hardware.
$25 Pair shipped w/o paint or hardware.

Hardware includes x2 galvanized 1/2" carriage bolts, washers, nuts for mounting the brackets to the bed rails.

If you would like a set(s) please send payment as friends and family via PayPal, my PayPal email is firstworldproblemsfab@gmail.com
    or visit my website
    Firstworldproblemsfab.com

Please send me your shipping information in a PM after you send payment. Shipping will be through USPS priority mail, typically 2 - 3 days shipping.

This is the cheapest option I have seen for mounting stuff to your bed rails!

Could you make one that I could bolt my spare to that'd let the tire rest on the bed floor but still be snug to the bed side?

You have my mind working but it would have to be adjustable, each tire size would require a different mounting height.

    Hmmmmmmm.........

Yeah I was thinking that too, maybe for the holes that the bolt goes through you could do longer slots to slide the whole mount up and down?

Edit: The bolts that go to the side rail*

Just got back from a trip through some Colorado mountain passes. Went up to 13,114 ft and back down and never had any problems from my mounts! Hi-Lift secured, didnt rattle, and made it home! I think they stood the test!

I was able to get a rotopax mounted with my universal mounts! I am having an issue with the mounting bolts hitting the tank though. Also i found that there will be 2 different mounts, 1 for the side rails, and 1 for the head rails. This is due to the small kick out on the bed sides.

    Disclaimer...

These will not work with mounting the rotopax over the wheel well. Not sure if that is even a thing...

The mounted rotopax tank will block access to your storage boxes in the rear of your bed sides. ** I am designing the mounts to not block access, but when you mount your tank you will lose access.

EDIT: i am currently designing brackets that will not rub on the mounting bolts and will be a bit longer, this will make the possibility of mounting the rotopax horizontally under a bed cover.
