Only thing I want out of that plan is the static IP.

I've been paying $10 a month for web hosting forever because of stuff like this happening, or the service disappearing altogether.

    Seriously.
DDNS is a good work around. I've been using Google since Dyndns decided to get super expensive. I pay $11 a year for my domain name.

My new router allows me to log into it remotely. I can get the WAN IP if I need to SSH into my home network.

I just got to my domain/whatever and I get whatever I want from my home network. I have maybe 20 devices accessible from the outside world. It mainly makes it easy for my IP camera software setup so I don't have to keep changing IP addresses on 9 camera's every time Cox decides to change it. Which isn't very often.

My IP usually only changes when I reboot the router, which sometimes isn't for months at a time. I only have one machine accessible on a non-standard port to the outside world. From there, I can access the rest of the machines if I need to.

I saw that Photobucket wants to charge $400 a year to allow linking again. They might have just dug their own gave.

Yeah that website has been taking a shit for the last 3 or 4 years now. The fact that they started doing this is basically their last chance to try to not die. Which isn't going to happen you're right they dug their own grave.

Do any of you Pixel XL owners need a case? I've got a brand new tech 21 for $10. My speck rep gave me a case so I don't need this one. I've only had it on my phone for like 5 days total. Let me know geeks.

Just noticed this on Cox's data usage page. Not sure if this is for everyone or because I've been bitching and writing letters to them.

My data usage page doesn't have that.

WiFi reception sucks at the girl's house. Had to modify the Pixel for free tethering!

Apparently the VZW people in store no longer do anything useful. (One guy even referred another costumer to Circuit City!) So they call up customer service for you if you need something.

I wanted to remove the dummy line from my account. Lady on the other end was really nice. She called me out on using the dummy line for upgrade loopholes, then asked me if I'd still like to keep my old unlimited data plan. My account is also 16 years old already

You might be able to get away with one of the Amazon fire tablets rooted. They are pretty cheap.

No, I had one and played with it, they are garbage. I guess I should have said built in GPS is a major plus.

I spilt beer on my computer, after 2 days of sitting it won't turn on. What the chances of me being able to pull shit off of the hard drive? I have so many pictures on this bitch I don't want to lose

Is it solid state? I'd remove the hard drive and plug that in to another computer using one of those handy dandy USB cables.
