I,’ve had Michelin LTX M/S2 on my truck for 80,000 mi. love them,.( I don’t go off road) I use my Truck for taking my dog for ice cream and letting her sticking her head out the window and Drool down the door ( She Likes that, makes her happy ) .Anyway I picked up a set of Sumitomo Encounters HT in 265/70 /16’s . they had good write ups not only from customers but testing etc. . Tread warranty 5 year/ 60.000 mi . Workmanship/ Materials warranty free replacement for 6 years , road hazard warranty 1 year and 30 Day teat drive / 2 year Roadside . Can’t beat that for $124.00 at tire. They hold the road well, feel good in the corners . there 38 lbs (same as the Michelins ) My truck in getting older( it’s a 2010 )I love it, IF I get 55 to 60 thousand mi . out of them I’ll be happy . By then I’ll be trading it in for a new one . I,ll let you know how they do in the snow etc. I live in New England so it will be a good testing ground . so far I really like them, And my Dog Maggie doesn’t seem to mind that there not Michelins ,

Just thought I'd give you an update on my tires I'm getting 23 miles to the gallon . I did say 21 miles to the gallon at first but I miscalculated .That's the same mileage I was getting with the Michelins . Not too bad for a cheaper tire . They also handle well in the rain. If they do well in the snow I'll be happy.

I did notice that it took more weight to balance the tires out .

I know it is really early to ask this, but what tire do you would you prefer between these and the michilin's? I am between the two and trying to make a decision.

I love these tires , they don't hydroplane , there quiet and smooth riding . I'll let you know how they do in the snow and ice in a few weeks . what a great tire for the money .
    I've been running 36psi

Thank you. someone shot my door with a pellet gun while I was driving home from work.... not very happy. $700.00 bucks to fix it . I'm old school . I think pickups should only have two doors . But that's me
