Hey I'm new to Tacomas and I am very interested in modding and lifting my tacoma but I'm not to sure what to get or what it would look like before I spent all of this money. Does anyone have a a lifted and modded tacoma I could look at in person and discuss tacomas with around the Dallas area?

Have you treated your truck well in terms of maintenance, and learned how to do all the routine stuff yourself?

    Own basic tools?

Some kids do (dad's, older siblings, older friends, 'naturals', etc.) and some are clueless.

Point is, modding before you know how to do all those things is cart before the horse stuff.

And. What is the truck lacking in how it's used? What won't it do that you need it to do, and how will that mod solve that problem?

Things to think over before plowing a bunch of coin into something that might not do anything but make you look good in a parking lot.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not suggesting you don't do things. Just suggesting you do them in a logical order.

What part of DFW are you in? A few of us are going out to the OHV park in Bridgeport tomorrow. Come out and check out a few trucks. What year/model do you have? 2 or 4 wheel drive?

Welcome, come join us in the DFW thread. We have meetups pretty much every month with a lot of nice trucks. You can see some pics of my 17 DCSB here I'm usually around the Plano area.
