Can't due Sat. The sister in law is in town and there going to L.A. If Sun is a no go might just have to shoot for another weekend or weekday.

Since you say your going to Ocotillo Wells I highly suggest you meet in Julian or somewhere and go thru Julian to get there. Go to Julian and take the 78E down Banner Grade and out from there to Ocotillo Wells. Fuel up in Julian and save some cash as fuel is spendy out there.

I'm assuming you were thinking Acorn to Ocotillo up S2 to OW...takes about an extra hour or so.

This thread with a title still saying 'Pine Valley' is pretty thrashed amigos...

Ocotillo Wells State Off Road Park is on Hwy. 78, east of Julean.

Ocotillo is on I-8, east of Golden Acorn Casino... nearby is Plaster City where MDR has off road races...

I am up for a Borrego Desert trip Saturday... I still haven't been over the Diablo Drop Off to Split Mountain/ Fish Creek... but have been to all the other spots that are fun (Mud Caves, Carrizo Stage Station via the water road, view of the badlands, etc).

When you all would like to do a four wheel drive (L4, A-TRAC +) run, please let me (us) know! Steep hills and deep sand, a plus!

I'm out guys, go figure:cool: Sorry this thing got all jacked up, just got too much on my plate this weekend. Might be able to do a midweek run or something in two weeks but as of now no runs at all for awhile.
