What options are most of you guys going with?

    Flipdown/removable front windows?
Trim or trimless on the bottom edge?

What options do you wish you got or didnt get?

ARE quoted me $2500 for a V series and $3500 for the Z series. Seriously, $1000 more....

I paid 2500 for our snugtop sport hiliner loaded with headliner, fold down sliding front. That is a gotta have it, no way to clean otherwise. Also oversize side windows for less blind spot!, keyless entry tied to passenger door locks which is awesome, and yakima tracks on the roof.

I have another question. So, if I have champagne wishes and caviar dreams about one day being able to get an RTT, what would I need to consider with regard to the canopy? Are canopies stout enough to hold a rack with an RTT and whatever might be in it?... or only specific ones?....
I don't know if the RTT will ever happen, but it's nice to dream, and at least maybe plan ahead. Right?

The Leer 100xr, Century Ultra Sport, and Raider Vagabond Elite are all the exact same shell made in the same factory. I was able to find a deal on a Raider that was several hundred cheaper than the leer dealer in town was willing to do.

Question. Do these mount on top of the plastic bed rails, or do they take those off?
Also, do all the companies have the clamps that mount to the bed tracks, or are they going to want to cut through the factory bed liner?
Got a quote yesterday from a Century dealer for the Ultra Sport. See below. Much better than the ARE price.
They also mentioned they have a new cab high for $1300.
Going to check the local Leer dealer this week, but right now I'm leaning toward this one.
"we have the century ultra sport for 1625.00
    includes:
    carpet headliner (n/c monthly special)
    paint to match
single locking, self latching all glass rear door
hand finished wrap rail for a seamless look
12 volt light (not AA battery operated)
    molded brake light
    tinted side slider
    lifetime warranty on the fiberglass
installed with a reusable rubber bottom seal and hidden style clamps

we also have the century crown (cab hi ) for 1299.00 installed

What is the benefit of a removable front window? I have a slider in my truck, so I can see the benefit of a slider, but why would you need or want a removable front window?

For me it was for ease of cleaning the windows.

The canopy sits so tight to the cab you will not be able to clean windows without removing the canopy otherwise!

Yes they just sit on the plastic. Yes they have fancy clamps that tie into the rails.

Dunno, I just stick a pressure sprayer back there and it cleans fine that way. Not that big a deal imo.

ARE V-series with windoor on one side, slider on the other, carpeted headliner, and rack rails. Originally got it so I could haul around my vizsla without having him blow out the interior of my truck. Adds a ton of practicality for just hauling groceries around town and I don't have to worry about my chainsaw/tools going missing from the bed. Not to mention it provides a great excuse to pick up a utility trailer because you compromise your ability to put bulky cargo in the bed.

Downsides: Leaks in front corners, knocked off 1-2 mpg, and added some extra weight to haul around all the time.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase...

Love mine... super functional if you're not using the bed for major hauling or loads. She's a road trip warrior with it.

It's crazy how much prices differ from dealer to dealer. I got quotes from 3 dealers on an ARE CX with Outdoorsman Windoors, Tilt-Down Sliding Front Window, Roof Tracks, Carpeted Headliner. Lowest Quote was 1900, Highest was almost 2500.
