I don't believe Uhaul sells any of their trailers, regardless of condition. All I can find on the net are chromed out trailers with side doors and ramp style rear door. We have these trailers at work and they look so good.

Yes, they shut down after a 10 min or something. I have one in my Tacoma and my work van.

    Thanks.

We ripped up my mom's yard this morning. Only took an hour with this heavy ass machine! It's like 400+ pounds

Is the 6 Speed manual with towing package strong enough to tow 3-4000 lbs in OD?

5th and 6th are both OD gears in the 6MT. I just went a couple hundred miles pulling 3300 lbs with mine. Spent a minimal amount of time in 6th, 4th and 5th got used a ton.

    Mostly stuff I built.
I sure hope it is... I do it regularly.

6th is fine in the flats 60-75 mph.
5th for pulling hills and maintaining same speeds.

Towed a very loaded down 5x8 Uhaul from Raleigh, NC to Chicago, IL in July. Drove straight through the mountains because I stopped at a buddy's house in Pigeon Forge, TN. No problems at all. Sport mode with ECT power on through the mountains, and regular 'ol drive mode once I cleared the Appalachians.

My dad called this a bad decision project, but it turned out fine!

We had to move this 'fort' from his property to his other property. What to do?

With some poor engineering and bad rigging we were able to lower it down onto this trailer, which I pulled 25 miles to its new home.

Using some more poor engineering and bad rigging, we stood it back up! No kittehs were harmed in the process!

I did get about 6 mpg on the tow and almost ran out of gas! It wasn't that heavy but was a serious b***h with wind resistance, it was a 3rd gear run the whole way to hold 55mph.

First home, getting ready to load on the trailer:
    IMG_20170819_094527.jpg

On the trailer - that roof was a serious sail!!
    IMG_20170819_102259.jpg

And up in its new home, to be leveled later. If I get some time (yeah right) I'll edit up the videos and put them up here.

When I got to the nearest gas station, I put.... 20.78 gallons in. I think that's almost empty!

Yesterday was my first time towing a boat with the Taco. I have a 4x4 V6 DBC SB TRD Sport with 6 speed manual. I dont know how many here still has the manual transmission and using it to pull a boat.

Pulling the boat on a flat and slight incline was ok but I go really concerned once i started climbing up hill. There was a moment when i had to get out of second gear and pop it into first just to maintain my momentum up the hill. I thought the tow portion on the road was ok, and i knew it wont be the greatest thing.

My concern was when we were ready to pull the boat out of the water... Once we got the boat loaded on the trailer and strapped, i tried to muscle my way out of the ramp with no luck. I even switched from 2wd, to 4wd high and tried from 4wd lo and wasnt able to budge. It felt like the car was stuck somehow.

did anybody else have issue like this?

We had to remove the boat off the trailer and i had to pull the trailer out of the water (even that had trouble off the ramp) and swapped the trailer onto my friends pathfinder to get the boat out of the water.

Again, this was the first time and i was a bit shocked and disappointed. I dont know if I missed a step or something when towing a boat.

    Thoughts?
