Quick question. Just had some sliders welded on by a popular off-road shop close to me, and one slider is mounted about an inch closer to the front tire than the other. Also, the back near the kick out is touching the bottom of my fender flare on both sides. Besides being slightly less appeasing astetically, will this have an effect on performance? Or mess up my fender flares as I slide off rocks? What would you guys do? If there's no downsides I'll leave em as is because they still look great on.

body is gonna rub the sliders for sure. also sliders WILL flex off the frame when coming down on something so you always want some clearance to account for this.

That stated it shouldnt cause too much of an issue as the rear bed / fender are all hard mounted to the frame so no bushing flex like the cab.

By the way. FREAKING LOVE the lil regular cab 6 lugger with the 3rd gen TRD wheels!

If the cab is contacting the sliders it's not a huge deal, but it can be annoying because of the knocking noise. If you want an easy solution, you can install Energy Suspension polyurethane cab mounts and mount them "upside down" (thick part on top, thin on bottom) and it will give you 1/2" of body lift. That's what I did on my truck and it fixed the clunking and you can't even tell there's a small body lift.

So you guys think I should leave it as is? Or try to get them to somehow lower it?

If they are welded on, I wouldn't bother with having them attempt to even it out, it would require cutting and re-welding obviously. I personally would let them know I noticed it though and see what they have to say about it.

    Truck looks great though!
