You need to read the first page. It's a dongle, you read your ECU, send him the file, he applies the tune, sends it to you, you flash.

    Just wondering,

If you cant find anyone to bring a MT Tacoma to dyno, would it be possible to go get a 24hr test drive of a MT Tacoma from a local dealership?

    i don't think anyone's interested in dyno'ing a new non-broken-in motor. performance changes.

please gawd don't bring out the "modern motors don't need a break-in" crowd. not looking for arguments.

Another guy that isn't going to read 209 pages.

I live in Co and I am always going up into the mountains for mtn bike riding etc. I've noticed that when going uphill on the hwy I feel like there are certain speeds that I cannot maintain in one gear. For example, driving 50mph in 5th. I'll start loosing speed and keep giving more throttle. Then it kicks down to 4th and accelerates back to 50mph, then upshifts to 5th again but can't maintain the speed and I slowly start loosing speed.

Today I put the cruise on at 50mph. It holds the speed just fine in 5th. Then while on the same incline I cut the cruise off and then it can't maintain 50mph...keep adding more throttle then it kicks down and speeds up.

It's like in cruise the throttle mapping, or shift points are completely different. Up to this point I just assumed that it was down on power because of the altitude.

Will these annoying tentancies be fixed by this tune?

    Mike
