yeah i can't justify that for just an upper. I would rather wait for a .22 pistol from glock.

Ok guys, I'm looking for a gun. I want to buy a G34 gen 4. But not any 34. I'm looking for one of those fancy ones with the grey polymer frame. Can't find them in CA. My LGS has been hunting for me too but I think TW will have better luck. Found a few broker sites which led me to some potential retailers, I just don't know if they'll ship to my FFL here in CA. Yes, I am able to buy a gen 4 in CA.

    Thanks for the help

Pretty sure the gray frames are Lipsey's exclusives.

This is the add if anyone is interested. Glock also has a summer special going on. I like the look of the G17.

If you go to the actual pistol page (http://www.lipseys.com/itemdetail.aspx?itemno=GLPG3430101GF) there is the option to find a dealer based on your zipcode. I'd call a few and see if they can get them and then just compare prices.

If there is a gen 5 glock 26 , I'd be in for that.... depending on what the new additions would be . Hell maybe even another 19 to add to the stable.

It'd probably be cheaper to get a gen4 when everybody tries to offload them for a new gen5 then get the finger grooves shaved off

I qualify for blue label. So usually, blue label is cheaper then most. but it also depends what is going to be added to it, surely it's not just removal of the finger grooves.

I'm going to go shoot the new one I guess, for $10 why not burn a couple hours at the shop.

Received an email from GLOCK today about the new Gen 5 models.

This is a special time in the history of GLOCK. On August 30, GLOCK, Inc. will be announcing the launch of our new G17 Gen5 and G19 Gen5 pistols. Because you are a member of GLOCK ID, we wanted you to hear the news first, from us, before the general public finds out.

The G17 Gen5 and G19 Gen5 pistols were inspired by the GLOCK M pistols used by the FBI and include many features the GLOCK community has been asking for. There are over 20 design changes which differentiate our Gen5 pistols from their Gen4 predecessors, including a flared mag-well, a new nDLC finish, the GLOCK Marksman Barrel, ambidextrous slide stop levers, and a grip which has no finger grooves.

These pistols will be available at your favorite GLOCK dealer beginning August 30. We hope you will go in to see them and try them.

Thank you for your continued support.

    Also an article from TFB:

    http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2017/08/25/glock-gen5/

How many will be headed to the LGS to view the new GLOCK's? I am up in the air as to whether or not I will be getting one of these right away. May wait for a while and see how the initial rush goes.
