I don't know. Forgot ask them at Discount Tire and it was too hot to check when I got home. What's everyone else running? I planned to start at 35 and work down from there.

If you up the psi, they shouldn't be as squishy? E loads have pretty stiff sidewalls

What does road force balance mean?

    Working on it.
It is a balancing machine that runs against a roller to simulate the road. It is a more effective balancing method. It helps with larger heavier wheels. If you have a place near by I would recommend having it done if you require balancing.

OK. Thanks. I'm having a shuddering. Not sure if it's a balancing issue. I have 265-65-17. Happens derwent 45-60. Vibrates in the rear view mirror it's that bad.

I’ve heard that on a more aggressive tread the road force balancing does it really make much difference?

Tires are put on a special machine that loads them as if the weight of the vehicle is pushing down on them and gives you a more acturate balance

I'm looking at tires and saw that these have a cult like following with the amount of posts on them. Is it safe to say these are awesome tires?

NP the machine can also tell you if your tire is out of round. When I had my coopers mounted the shop was unable to balance one of the tires. The tech came out and brought me back to the machine where it showed a hard spot in the sidewall preventing appropriate flex and balancing. I had the tire replaced and all was well but without the "road force" it most likely would have gone undetected until driving it. It sounds like it might help get to the root of your vibration issue. If you go to a quality shop they should look for cupping, scalloping or other tire wear issues. It may also be worth having an alignment done as well if any wear issues are developing. Let us know how it goes.
