Not good with gauge thickness but it equates to 1/8" thick. Seems thin but when fastened down and an adequate number of crossbars are spread out beneath it, it's very sturdy. Yes, aluminum. $25

Good question, not sure yet. Don't care cause we don't use XM or local stations... I plan on testing it though, i'll be sure to report.

I had zero additional noise and couldn't notice any loss in MPG. I ended up adding six, and these things are amazing.

I ordered today. No order number via email? Email just said thanks for shopping with us.
    Gonna be a long wait!
Lots of good info in here. Need to order some of the tie down loops mentioned in another thread.

People with both Camper shell and Cab rack system, do you experience any wind noise?

Anyone running a cargo box on top of a cabrac or toprac? Wondering if there's enough clearance below the rack for the cargo box clamps...

You'll most likely get an email confirmation and invoice tomorrow. Then the wait, hopefully not as long as previous orders in the past.

My wait got extended because they said they only got the powdercoated shipment ib and Im getting bare, they didn't get any bare.

Are they outsourcing the manufacturing? Or did I maybe talk to shipping and they are seperate from their production site?

does the cabrac interfere with the 3rd gen sunroof if i keep all the bars in the 2 hole locations, not the longer slots?

    EDIT: who has pics?

I'd put some skateboard/anti-slip tape on there.

It's surprisingly quite grippy as is! I was up top last night at the car wash with the sprayer and it has a kind of grippy feeling. Definitely not slippery.
    Thanks, thought about it though.

I hope I'm interpreting the "2 hole" locations right.. You mean slots where the bar is fixed and can't slide around for custom location ala the longer slots?

From what I can tell it won't interfere with using sunroof on my 3rd Gen. I leave that bar out for the time being unless I'm actually carrying something just because it obstructs the view out of the top, but I think if you had the bar in, it'd still vent/tilt up just fine. The other smaller slot spot doesn't touch the sunroof.. When I do have the sunroof fully tilted up, that rear bar just behind the sunroof is a hair higher than the tilted glass. The other/middle spot is around half way across the sunroof so there'd be a good amount of clearance imo.

If I misinterpreted what you're asking for, sorry! Here's some pics anyways

Hey. Wind noise, don't see how they could be louder than the rack. No issues. MPG-Huh? They are not even a thought for mpg. No cons. They are very good. I added the when I did my light at all at once so I made the wire harness all at once.
